they will be exhibitingat the 2008 Offshore Technology
Conference (OTC) from May 5th - 8th in Houston, Texas.
Visit us at the Reliant Center, Booth 1917.
ASC is known for leading-edge CAD/CAM programs for vessel
design and construction but also supplies state of the art
customized load planning solutions and stability monitoring software.
Autoload®
version 6 is the latest generation of our 3D-based onboard
stability and strength-simulation/monitoring program.
If the vessel has crane(s) fitted the user can turn on the 'crane layer'
to simulate crane-lift operations.
The 3D view window will show the operation in real
time and with correct dimensions while the operator
shifts deck cargo with the crane in the 2D window.
2D 'profile view' window of crane lift showing all crane details

The 'profile plane' rotates with the crane
Floating condition and stability margins are automatically
updated for each shift of deck cargo or movement of
the crane. All crane motion is controlled simply with
the mouse or with dialogues. Outreach and capacity is
checked constantly and the crane will turn red if the
user tries to overload it. Clearance to deck or other
cargo is monitored during each crane movement and a
warning is issued if there is an interference. Autoload
can handle all crane types including knuckle jib, telescopic,
multiple hooks and dual lift.
The latest Autoload features a new pull down menu which shows
the vessel's stability according to new Norwegian Maritime Directorate (NMD)
regulations based on user input of chain tension and angle from 0 (vertical)
to 90 (horizontal). Autoload will check if NMD criteria's are fulfilled
for any Anchor Handling load configuration.
Autoship Systems Corporation is the leading developer
of on-board stability software and marine design CAD/CAM
programs. Autoload has an installed base of over
470 vessels and Autohydro®
currently has over 1,200 installed users making
it the No.1 program of its type in use across the entire
marine industry.
