Autoship Systems introduces Autoyacht,
the hull design program for Yacht Designers
Autoship Systems Corporation is pleased to announce that
they have just released Autoyacht 8.0, their new
hull design program for yacht designers. With Autoyacht,
yacht designers can easily export ship models to the Offshore
Racing Council International Measurement System Velocity
Prediction Program (IMS VPP) so that they quickly and
easily check their vessel design's sailing speed.
Other exciting features include:
- Instant hydrostatics. Twenty hydrostatic parameters
as well as a graph of section areas are shown.
- Measurement tool. Lengths, angles and rise angles
can be measured
- Trimmed surfaces/curves. Editing of surfaces or
trim curves results in immediate update of the trim
- Surface blends. Produce chamfers and fillets
- Ample Capacity for design. Autoyacht offers ample
yacht design capacity by allowing up to twenty surfaces
in a project and models of up to twenty metres (65.6
ft.) in length
- Help System - A comprehensive context-sensitive
help system provides the user with valuable information
on all features
