Kvaerner - Polar Design of Vancouver, BC, has recently installed Autoship for hull design, Autohydro for intact and damage stability and Autoplate for plate expansion. The Vancouver Kvaerner office will use the 3 programs for design and structural work on ferries, work boats and cargo vessels.

KVAERNER with head offices in Norway, has purchased several installations of the marine design programs from Autoship Systems Corp. with the goal of sharing the Autoship files across their international offices.

The following Kvaerner offices have the Autoship System installed: Kvaerner Mandal - (Mandal, Norway), Kvaerner Kleven - (Ulsteinvik, Norway), Kvaerner Marine - (Lysaker, Norway), Kvaerner Masa Yards - (Turku, Finland), Kvaerner Floro Consult - (Oslo, Norway), Kvaerner Earl and Wright - (Croyden, England) and Kvaerner Fjellstrand offices in Singapore and in Omastrand, Norway.

The Kvaerner Fjellstrand yard in Norway has recently completed several new fast ferries using the Autoship System, including the 34-45M FlyingCats series, and the JumboCat - a fast ferry capable of carrying 1,000 passengers and 200 cars.
