Autoship® + Autostructure® Package
Autoship Systems Corporation (ASC) is pleased to announce that from now until December 31, 2006, Autostructure (internal structural design program) can be purchased for 50% of the list price. New and existing ASC clients alike can take advantage of this same offer. New ASC customers will pay the bundled price of $13,150 for Autoship Pro and Autostructure whereas existing Autoship users will be able to purchase Autostructure for $4,450.

Autoship + Autostructure address the issue of the engineering process breaking down when the design office cannot supply true-fitting internal parts to the shipyard in a timely fashion. The implications of this breakdown is that the shipyard is faced with cutting parts and plates by trial and error, resulting in a large allocation of man-hours and material wastage. Autoship + Autostructure resolve this problem.

The hull model is first created in Autoship (NURBS based), and then imported into Autostructure where the internal structure is designed in exact relation to the supplied hull. Autostructure has many versatile and timesaving features. For example, if changes are made to the hull, all of the internal structure is automatically updated. Hundreds of hours of rework are saved.
