Installs New Autoship Systems Software
Autoship Systems Corporation of Canada is pleased to announce
that the leading shipyard in Ecuador, Astinave Astilleros
Navales Ecuatorinaos (Armada Del Ecuador) located in Guayaquil
has upgraded their Autoship (hull design/surface
modeling) and Autohydro (intact and damage stability)
software to the new 1999 releases.
The engineering department has also purchased Autopower
(resistance and power prediction) and Autobuild
(internal structural design).
ASTINAVE is a naval shipyard devoted to repair work
of the Ecuadorian fleet and to the design and building
of small vessels. The software acquisition had to meet
several technical specifications for Hull Form Generation,
Hydrostatics + Stability, Structural Design, Integration
and Compatibility before procurement was granted.
