Autostructure Ready to Launch
Autoship Systems Corporation is pleased to announce that at the SNAME 2000 Annual Meeting and Exposition October 4th to 7th, Autostructure 1.0 will be released. Autostructure, our completely new internal structural design program, forms a key component of our CAD/CAM suite of programs.

Development of a project in Autostructure is both easy to manage and carry out. For example, in the Main Screen (Image 1 below) the user manages all parts in a project as well as views any selected part of the project in the 3D-viewer. Then zooming in on the 3-D picture (Image 2 below), one can see the minute details of the partially completed design achieved in only two-person days. In the Global Layout (not shown), the user can rapidly lay out mutually trimmed flat panel parts in the principal planes.

Frequent operations are supported by specialized dialogues. One such dialogue, the Panel Subdivision screen (Image 3 below), is used to facilitate dividing large parts into stock panel sizes.

Autostructure exports part, assembly and 3D drawings directly to AutoCAD 2000. Users may modify or add to the collection of standard reports. Autostructure will also interface with industry standard piping programs.
